The setting for the first Pep Summer Camp will be Rialp. A unique Pyrenean place in the Pallars Sobirà region, Lleida, with a perfect weather to host concentrations of football teams and first-class facilities, such as natural grass pitches.
The 3-star Hotel Condes del Pallars, owned by Rosa dels Vents, with extensive experience in organizing extracurricular activities and sports campus, has two perfectly maintained natural grass soccer fields, one pitch is for Soccer 11 and another one for Soccer 7; as well as two courts of Soccer 5. There is also an indoor sports arena to practice basketball, handball and volleyball; two swimming pools, one outdoors and the other inside the hotel; and a gym.
We will also have a conference room where sessions and talks will take place and another room for our physiotherapist.
The hotel will offer a free buffet service, supervised by the Campus nutritionist.
The methodology used for the Pep Summer Camp will be all-encompassing, although methods will prioritize the varying aspects of football skills and techniques.
Training sessions will be dynamic, constantly involving ball-work and tailored to the specific qualities of each participant.
There will be two training sessions daily, 7-a-side football competitions and other disciplines such as 3-a-side football and footvolley matches, not to mention a range of other sporting activities including swimming-pool activities, alternative sports, and night-time olympic challenge, to mention a few.
From Pep Summer Camp we are very aware of the delicate moment we are going through due to the Covid-19 pandemic and, although we are already in the final stretch, we will carry out all the pertinent measures, led by the medical team of Dr. Bonaventura Clotet.
We will carry out antigen tests on all children and trainers before the start of the Campus, as well as taking their temperature twice a day. Hand washing will also be frequent and the mask will be mandatory at all times in common spaces and outside of sports activities.
Also, there will be stable groups of coexistence and we will maintain security distances as much as possible.
